Engineering Degrees Are The Top Earning College Degrees!

However, not all graduates, in engineering, enter the job market with a huge pay package. What NACE had found is that all the highest paying jobs have one thing in common, and that is mathematical skills.

More college students are looking at a field's earning power, before deciding on their major.

A Petroleum engineering degree is the cream of the crop, of top earning college degrees. Their typical beginning salary is around $83,121. Graduates with these degrees usually obtain employment, finding oil and gas reservoirs, or perhaps in establishing methods to get those resources to the Earth's surface.

Chemical engineers, are also on the high-paying salary list. They utilize their particular expertise to produce everything from plastics to fuel cells and get a typical commencing salary of $64,902.

And there you have it, two totally different career fields, but both are top earning college degrees.
